Once you’ve narrowed it down to what type of home will best suit your lifestyle, getting pre-approved for a loan should be your next priority. Pre-approval means contacting a bank or financial institution and speaking with a mortgage broker. We recommend shopping around; not considering more than one mortgage package is a common mistake new buyers make.
